Re-elect Experience

Very proud to endorse my friend and Cheshire County Attorney Chris McLaughlin. Chris has been valuable to the Cheshire County Sheriff's Office. He has served as the county attorney for more than 13 years and wishes to finish his career at the County Attorney's Office with one more term.

He was instrumental in the Drug Court, now known as the Treatment Court, and many other programs within the office. His integrity speaks volumes, and he is well respected as an attorney by the law enforcement community. I've personally witnessed Chris's work when he was a public defender, and I was a police prosecutor for Keene Police. Shortly after, I worked directly with him when he became the Regional Prosecutor assigned to the Keene Police, while I still served as the Police Prosecutor.

For the past 13-plus years, I've had the privilege to work closely with Chris, as the Sheriff, on matters that impact our county and I am proud to endorse his re-election for County Attorney. We both have a primary challenger, with no general election challenger listed at this time. During the 2026 primary on September 8th, vote for experience and re-elect Eli Rivera Sheriff and Chris McLaughlin County Attorney.
